1770 Camping Ground is located in a secluded bay inside Round Hill Headland at 1770. The 1770 Camping Ground features a white sandy beach and areas to safely moor your boat. 1770 is renowned for its Reef Fishing.
Campervans, Camping, and Caravan Sites
We mainly cater for tents and camper vans. We have 40% dedicated caravan sites with power, water and sullage and some beachfront sites have water but no sullage.
All beachfront sites have power however if you want to enjoy full caravan facilities do not book beachfront.
Facilities
Our facilities include free Wifi, camp kitchen, and restaurant, laundry, kiosk with groceries, ice, gas, bait tackle.
Sunsets
Famous for its Sunsets, 1770 Camping Ground faces west and enjoys a spectacular late afternoon display. A cool drink at the water’s edge on dusk is a must do.
Evening campfires on our beachfront campsites are rare in Queensland, but we allow fires on all front sites.
